thanks for all the well wishes for my brother in law. he's still in intensive care, so my sister is having to sleep in the waiting room at night. he did get up and do a few laps around the nurses desk,though, which is a good sign after such a heavy surgery.

work was exhausting today. you guys just don't know how tempting it is...

my brother in law came through the surgery just fine. he won't wake up till tomorrow, and he may have to have a pace maker. but he is alive and that's all that matters to the family.

just watched 'adaption' and i am amazed. crazy plot twists,and nic cage was fantastic,as was chris cooper. the car crash scenes had me cringing everytime they got into a vehicle.
