thoughtful but affordable gifts are the only way to go. My best friend gave me one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. He wrote a book of poetry for me. (he's a freelance writer) Each poem handwritten.
This year I will probably make all my gifts and the ones I don't will be small but thoughtful.

my excercise for the day was running after the fed ex truck because they rang my bell which does not work..and didn't leave my package because they thought no one was home.
I had curried potatoes and chick peas with apricot chutney over brown rice for dinner.
then I baked a pumpkin pie..2 actually. (see you should live closer, I would have knocked on your door and given you one)
now I am going to go watch a movie..(not sure which one yet)
Ps. thought about you..I was at a benefit used book sale and I found a bunch of Ayn Rand books.. Sadly no fountainhead.
I searched and searched..bought all the rest though.
