For the few that know me and interact with me on a regular basis a big thank you! Here is an update and big news!
As some of you may know I recently lost my job of 17 years The store I worked at closed down suddenly and without notice. The franchisee who owned the store for the past 4 years just up and took off. He also bounced my paycheque of almost 1500 dollars and a weeks worth of wages too and I have no paperwork required by the Canadian government to claim unemployment insurance or do my taxes. Its been a battle of constant phone calls and trying to talk to an actual person and not a robot. I have even gone into the offices and did what I could do there as well. Its been an exhausting and frustrating mental drain on me over the last month and a half. Because labour is also covered under the Ontario government I've also had to talk to them and submit a complaint and paperwork. It's difficult enough having to deal with one level of government let alone two. I am hoping a resolution will be on the horizon soon
So now with the news! Because of my situation and my struggles I have decided to leave Guelph. I have lived here almost half my life but its time for a change. I can no longer afford it, the city is extremely expensive to live in and the landscape has changed, also full time well paid work is just not here So as of the middle of November I am going back home for awhile so I can get back on my feet. I have survived two divorces and this work related issue. That being said I think I am going to be just fine. The karmic forces of the universe have a way of balancing and working out. The cool thing is, I will be living in small town Ontario with access to Toronto a little bit closer than where I was before. The only down side is I will be quite a distance from my little girl, but we will make it work. Distance and time are nothing when you have the love and support of family and friends close by and far away!
All this being said I would also like to thank a few people who have been very supportive of me. I talk to these women almost on a daily basis and they deserve medals for putting up with my ranting and drama and issues. So thank you very much from the bottom of heart @viciousfeline @zory @nebula @volana @jamey_ I hope to one day be able to thank you all in person for the love and support and friendship I have received from ya! Wonderful women and amazing human beings and my friends! All thanks to the wonderful world of @suicidegirls . If it wasn't for this site I probably wouldn't have ever met these amazing ladies so THANK YOU!
