Glad to see alot of people agreeing with me about the Reagan thing.
Now to more pressing matters. Like:
Simple Life 2 season premiere: I love this show because you have two really hot, really stupid girls failing miserably at everything they attempt to do. I laugh my ass off for 30 minutes straight.
Red & Method - The season premiere kinda sucked. I expecting them to be crazy weed smoking, womanizing party animals like in "How High", but we have them running around baking fruit cakes and learning valuable life lessons. If I want that I would watch Oprah. WTF??
***And the debatiable issue of the week:
- The Southern Baptist Convention is discussing pulling all southern baptist children out of public schooling.
This is the dumbest thing I have heard since we went to war with Iraq. Sure lets pull all of next generation's future out of schools because they teach science instead creationism. Lets look at creationism vs Science for a second.
a) Creationism is Unprovable while Science is only Science if we can duplicate results over and over again via experiment or through mathmatical equations. Hence Science is Provable.
b) Creationism isn't useful in the real world unless you want to be a minister. While Science is used in every job on the planet.
c) Creationism is all about faith. Science is about how something works. If you just have faith in water to come out of a faucet then no water will come out. But if you understand how that faucet works then you can make water come out of it.
Final thoughts: While I don't believe god exists in a biblical way, I do see a very small possibility that another being may have interfered in our evolution or maybe even started this linear existance of ours. But until we have hard proof of it we can't teach it in schools and shouldn't make policy based on it.
