Went to Atlanta and Cornelia, Georgia for spring break. I was there Friday and Saturday. During the days I was in Atlanta. I went to Fernbank Natural History Museum, Science Center, and Atlanta Zoo.

Fernbank Natural History Museum - This place was lots of fun. Alot of humbling moments standing beside the various life size Dinosaurs. The only bad part is I just happened to show up while most of Atlanta's elementary schools were there. I couldn't walk anywhere with out some little pain-in-the-ass kids running in front of me. One of the teachers (hot alternative teacher chick) was checking me out, but I did feel it wouldn't be appropiate to approach her while she was attempting to keep those little monsters in line.

Science Center - This place blew. It took me all of 5 minutes from start to finish. That was a waste of like 3 cents of gas.

Zoo - The Zoo was okay. I had been their when I was like 6 or 7 (my parents told me), but I didn't remember it. At least until now, most of the Zoo didn't change. It is dirty and the animals look like they are in Hell. I had a elephant, covered in dirt and his own feces, walk within 20 feet of me and look me right in the eyes. It looked as if he was trying to cry, but couldn't. You could read all the pain, suffering, and lack of meaning that that elephant felt. Part of me wanted to go all animal rights and brake the elephant out, but that would accomplish nothing but me going to jail and the elephant being recaptured. Humans are so cruel!!

But the Zoo wasn't all bad. I had never seen a Panda in person before and that was cool. Even got to see it snap a large piece of of bamboo in half with its jaws.

Also the reptile room was awesome. The King Cobra rules all!! Got to see it flaten its head out and glance in my direction. I wonder if I would have ran in real life or if I would have just stared all hypnotised by this deadly but beautiful creature. Eventually the cobra disappeared back in his hole in the back of the cage. I then wondered what "The Animal Hunter" Steve Erwin would have said right then.

(In an Austrailian accent)

Steve: Oh what a marvelous creature, I wonder what happens when I hit it with a stick and then hold this little baby up to it.

(Steve hits snake with stick and hold baby out toward snake. Snake bites baby)

Steve: Cri-ki!! eeek

Poor Baby, Oh Well!! wink Back to my killer spring break! smile

My nights where spent in Cornelia, Ga. For those who don't know where Cornelia is, it is about 72 miles northeast of Atlanta close to the SC border.

That is where my hotel was and where NWA:Wildside wrestling is. They held their annual "Hardcore Hell" event on Fri and Sat nights. I went to both nights and had a great time. AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Dusty Rhodes were all there.

It was the best indy show I have ever been to. On Friday night I was wearing my BRAND NEW Deftones "Love Letter" shirt

and Jason Blackman did an obvious blade job (when a wrestler cuts themselves) that bleed really nasty. He was dripping everywhere and Rick Michaels thought it was a good idea to bring Jason Blackman over and bang his head on the rail in front of me. Jason Blackman was bleeding very heavily and the blood went everywhere all over my brand new Deftones shirt, my Timberlands, my arms, neck, and the girl beside me got it all over her too. The girl paniced and ran to the bathroom to clean herself off and I sat there looked at the blood, realized that I had no open wounds, smiled and thought "COOL", wiped it on my jeans and continued to watch the match. I couldn't get the clothes to a washer till today (sun), but luckily all the blood came out. smile

Saturday night show has awesome and you can read all about the show and my reactions to it here:

Drove back on Sunday. Got sunburned on my left side on my arm, face and neck. That will teach me to have my window rolled down with arm out window for 7 hours.

Saw a large hill just outside of Chatanooga, Tn completely engulfed in smoke. The trees on the hill were on fire. Damn forest fires!! But I didn't hear anything about it on the news, so they must have contained it.

Overall my spring break was great. I hope next years is even better. The whole thing cost me less then $200. smile

You are funny! smile Humm, I'm atheist too, I saw some of your posts in that group so I decided to check out your journal. It's good to know that there are other people in the world who feel the same way as I do.
