got back from portland, oregon wed night. that was a freakin blast. i love that city. i read on msn that it's supposed to be the worst city to live in or something like that. what a bunch of crap. it's awesome. transportation is easy downtown, and there's so much crap to do! i have fun every time i go. fuck that article.

i stayed away from powell's books this time. i love books, and i always spend waaaaaaay more time there than i expect to. this trip was all about the bottle shops, brew pubs and breweries. awesome!! there's somehting like 30 breweries within city limits! pretty sure that's the most in THE WORLD!! a dream; simple as that.

i went alone, but i stayed the night with a friend of mine. i haven't seen her in years. she hasn't changed. for better or worse, she's exatcly the same. i love that girl. didn't get a chance to visit anyone else. i have another friend and a cousin who lives there. oh, well. next time, next time..

i didn't make it to sketchy chinatown, or any of the sweet strip joints, either. again; next time.

i wrote this post (or one very much similiar) on thurs am, but when i hit the ADD BLOG button, it was erased. did i do something dumb? or is that a common occurence? at any rate, i'll make sure to copy my blogs before i hit that button again!! ok, lvely people! i'm shower bound. 3 cheers for PDX!!!!
