I write really heavy music. Lately, I've felt this overwhelming desire to get a band/project together, and inflict some audio assault upon the world.
So, I got a recording program, and an amp modelling plug-in, and hooked up my baritone Les Paul.
I hit record, and just played the first thing that came out. I don't know if I'm ripping anything off, but basically this is just me figuring out the riff/noodley bits as I go. It's not mixed, has no drums/vocals/bass, I haven't worked on the guitar sound at all, I just picked a preset, and hit record.
But anyway, it's 9 minutes long, and while it's tuned really low (dropped F), I think it's really relaxing.
Check it out, and let me know if you think it's going in a good direction, or if I'm straight jacking somebody else's shit (if anyone, it'll be Isis or Neurosis probably):

@wick_ Unfortunately nothing ever came of it. I continue writing music regularly, but I've since moved and started school for luthiery. Lots of guitarists around, but verrrrry few drummers. We'll see though, I'm still looking!
