Today I suffered the single greatest moment of disappointment of my life.

After workI went to Best Buy and bought myself "Batman Begins" as a Thanksgiving treat. A quick trip, in and out. A few hours later, as I began to unwrap the plastic binding, my eyes caught on three dreaded words, mocking me from the top of the DVD case.

Could broadcast television actually be improving? Shows like Lost and Arrested Development have been getting me hooked. They are the first shows I've watched consistently since the fall of all things Whedon.

Then I read this article, which makes me thinkg we're finally comign out of a decade-long cultural nightmare: Reality Shows Hit Hard Times.

In other news, go see "Serenity." Do it. Now.
