I'll be down for most of the day today. I was moving my computer desk dowstairs, when it slipped, and when I twisted to stop it, I wrenched the hell out of my lower back.
On the other hand, I finally got some use out of having a massuse for a roommate. He snapped the joint back in place in about 10 seconds flat. Now... Read More
I completely agree with your comment about sexuality. It is fluid. I've never been much for labels, certainly. But then...I'm from those funny theatre folk LOL...and that open minded and often wild and absurd atmosphere is commonplace for me...given the right circumstances and lower the inhibitions... God knows what people will do hehhee.
I got your comment on my journal. Funny you are also from Oregon and in DC. How long have you been here? I absolutely hate it here. I can't wait to get out of here. There are a lot of cities I would move to - but I'd prefer the Pacific Northwet (Portland, Seattle, etc.). Anyway. I don't go out much here - due to the fact that I've developed Asthma (I think pollution) and I can't be in cigarette smoke. So, I'm now a boring old person or something like that.
BUT - to my brand. I hope to get a picture. It is large and I can't get it in one myself with my digital camera. It is also still healing and doesn't look great yet.
As to the bdsm scene. I think the Baltimore scene is better for young persons. Occassionally there are good pansexual events at the Playhouse via the BES group there. Sometimes they have them at The Crucible. The Black Rose group I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they were white heterosexuals over 50 years old and then with reservations. You may have better luck. I hang out with the queer community pretty much exclusively and the DC Eagle with the Highwaymen's club - which is mostly gay men! Go figure. My closest personal scene friends are mostly dykes and transgendered bois (M to F's). So, I am definately not in the mainstream crowd. I travel to big national events to see people I know and get good play. Again, you might have better luck or it may turn around as I understand it used to be good - but right now, it sucks in my opinon.
After two months of living in this place, I finally got to really talk with our downstairs neighbors. I've lived on the floor above them, in the same house, for so long with hardly any interaction. After a minute of chatting, the husband invited me in for dinner.
Turns out they are from Eritrea, and treated me to some traditional... Read More
I have said the same thing about Howard Dean! He was SO fun!! While others laughed at his little tangent naming off the states...I thought it was...well, funny, but I also thought..."what a groovy president he'd be" ...but it does make me laugh just remembering it.
Yesterday was one of the longest days of my life. I was up 7 to go to work at the office's annual garage sale. I was there till noon.
On the bright side, I've finally met someone, and she's basically adorable. A cutie who was hired for a temp job at the office. We met a couple days ago, momentarily. We really hit it off... Read More
The theatre I work at is having it's annual garage sale, and being an intern (and a strapping young man, if I say so myself), I've been handed alot of the physical labor. Today, some of the other interns and I were sorting out some of the incoming items, when I saw a tattered hardcover book called "Elegent Erotic Stories." Yes, you... Read More
Glad to hear things are looking up.
