Another success! Thanks to everyone who came out.
The Dresden Dolls were fantastic. I met up with Cheech and Ariel and her crew at the concert. I also met Morgan, part of the aforementioned Ariel crew, which was very cool. Sorry to anyone at the concert who didn't get a chance to make it to the party. Phone issues were the one big drag of the night.
We put the game back in "game night" this time for sure! There was much in the way of Truth or Dare Jenga, and Gay Porn Twister (how YOU doin' Bredoteau!
), which made for an interesting evening, to say the least. Thanks to Dierdre for the genius Twister idea. Much like The Cheat, the Twister set is seemingly staying with the party host, and I'm toally fine with that!
And now, the aftermath:
I've woken up to the 19th century. The phone is still on the fritz, and now the WATER isn't working. At all. No shower, and I have to work today. Disconcerting.
It's strange, with all these parties, I feel like I'm MEETING so many awesome people, but I never get a chance to really sit down and talk with them. There are so many interesting folks in the region. I'm very glad that we are finally coming together as a community, and I am very much looking forward to getting to know you all better.

That was a great time. Next time I won't be so drunk and have to go hang with my friend leaving for NZ. Then we can talk more etc. I can tell there were a lot of good people there. We do have a great region.

Star Wars, monday, sounds good. Hopefully I'll have a chance to peruse the rest of the films this weekend. The home situation is still iffy.
