Vacation is going well! Lots of relaxing getting done. I went and saw the Rembrandt exhibit at the National Gallery. I've done a fair amount of reading at Murky Coffee, my favorite coffee shop in DC, and the one I get to visit the least. I still need to get some sticky life stuff done tomorrow, and then the weekend will be clear for more rocking.

Last night I went to Velvet Lounge to see Tryst's band, Rockbot. They were pretty damn good, as was one of the previous bands, a group I hadn't heard of before called Karmella's Game. (The lead singer and keyboardist was SO CUTE.) They may have been the first band I've enjoyed that was made up enitrely of people younger than me.

Tonight, I'll be hitting up Alchemy, for some gothy goodness, hopefully meeting Aryn there. (Note to Aryn: You better be there! ) Friday, I'll be taking in the small independent feature "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". I'm so avant garde.

And then comes the party on Saturday! (Note to EVERYONE: You better be there!) There is still time to RSVP here or in the Charm City or DC groups, so if you want to come, let me know.
