I've got an infection under my left thumbnail from a splinter I got two weeks ago. It was fine until a few days ago when the thumb started swelling up and part of the skin under my nail turned black.

A couple days ago, I pushed on it a little bit and a bunch of pus sqeezed out from under my fingernail. It hurt like a bitch, but afterwards it was better. Then I woke up today and it was swollen again, so I went to the doctor and was put on anitbiotics. If its not better in two days, I'll need surgery too.

Cooincidentally, that will be graduation day. Life is strange.

On a brighter note, my going away/graduation party is tomorrow. SO many of my friends are crazy busy this week, but most of them will at least be putting in an appearance. It should be fun. I'll have to severly limit my drinking, though. Graduation is at 9:30 the following morning.

I'm off to sleep now. Graduation rehearsal is tomorrow, and my family is taking me out to pancakes in the morning.

Mmmmmmm.... pancakes.
