A political moment:

This week, the Supreme Court is hearing a case in which the Justices will have to rule on the validity of global warming and the role of the government in solving the problem (or if it should even HAVE one). Judging from the analysis on Slate.com, the opinion of some of the honored Justices is something akin to "but what can WE do to help the planet? We're just one little widdle country...and China is SO MUCH WORSE!"

This, on week in late November when it was near 70 degrees in Washington, D.C. I wore a T-Shirt last night, for fuck's sake.

I'm not an especially relgious man, but, maybe someone up there was giving Altio, Roberts, and the rest a bit of a sign?

A few items, on lighter notes:

The meet and greet last night was a smashing success. I had a blast, and met some good folks.

I'm on X-Box Live now, my handle there is "sgdc insomniac". Creative, right?

"Monster" closed last weekend. Which means I finally have some time off. That time off being this weekend, because...

"Rough Magic" has already started pre-production meetings. This is the show I'm assistant directing, and I'm hoping to see some SG folks come on out to see it. More information on that later.
