Ack! I've been tagged by relevantswitch. I'll take the opportunity to let y'all know what's been going on.
1. My "World of Warcraft" account terminated at 3PM today.
2. The withdrawl symptoms started at 3:30.
3. No full-time job yet. However, that may change as early as tomrorow.
4. My costume for Halloween was a 1920's gangster. I wish I had pics, I looked great. The suit was expensive, but I can justfity it. I needed a new suit jacket. The fedora, on the other hand, was pure impluse.
5. I did not actually wear this costume on Halloween. I wore it to ChiarOscuro, the local goth night in DC, for their Halloween bash on Saturday.
6. As soon as I have $1000 saved up, I'm finding a new place to live.
7. There probably won't be another SGDC party until No. 6 happens, folks. Sorry.
8. Bound, the festish night I've been going to, gets better every week.
9. I haven't been home to Oregon for Thanksgiving for six years. This causes me no end of guilt.
10. I need new tank tops, badly. Can you say threadbare?
11. My "World of Warcraft" time has been taken up by "Guild Wars", which is ALMOST as good, but has the added benefit of not costing $15.00 a month to play.
12. I've been playing a lot of online poker. The free verision, don't worry. But I've been doing so well I now harbor delusions of making money at it. God help me.
13.I'm starting a little club with some of my theatre friends. A "let's just get drunk and read plays" club. Theatre has become work for me, and I need to recapture the fun. I have a dream of getting a bunch of people together, memorzing a play, and then just going somewhere during the middle of the day, and performing it, as publicly as possible.
14. I'm flirting with the notion of going anonymous for a little while, again. This will probably pass without incident.
15. My friends list is officially cursed. Two friends added in a week, three friends lost. It's either cursed, or proof that there is balance in the univserse. I'm leaning towards cursed.
16, I'm addicted to massage. If you're in a relationship with me, you're going to get asked to massage my back. A lot.
17, If I really, really, like a girl, I live in fear of doing something to scare her off. This inevitably leads to scaring her off.
18. I'm a book packrat. People think my book collection is impressive. It's not, if you consider I've had half of them since I was a teenager.
19. I've lost so much weight since I moved to DC, none of my pants fit anymore. My SG T-shirt is the one piece of clothing I own that is too small for me!
20. I've been craving a night pure, unadultered geekiness like crazy. We're talking board games, Buffy kareoke, non-alchoholic drinks (punch and pie, people!), and non-stop fighting games on the big screen. Hell, maybe I will throw another SG Event.
(Don't worry, I was only kidding about the non-alchoholic drinks.)
