Well, sadly, work did not calm down. In fact, as it turns out, my vacation made things a bit more hectic. Deadlines were pressing and I had to work a lot of evenings over the past few weeks to get caught back up. But now I am happy to report I am (mostly) caught up with things at work.
I'm still managing to read a bit, though certainly more slowly now. I'm reading Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs and will be reading the next Fate of the Jedi book before getting back into The New Jedi Order for a few more books.
I've also discovered a new hobby, geocaching. We were able to nab a couple of relatively easy ones on our first outing, going 2 for 4 a couple of weeks back. But our second outing today netted us an even 6 for 6. Fun stuff!
