I've been quiet for a while, first very busy at work and second for a nearly two week vacation to London and Paris. It was a really great trip.
In the past couple of weeks I have managed to read a number of books, some pulpy Star Wars stuff and some more unique, like Good Omens. If you haven't read Good Omens I highly encourage it. It's a very humorous take on the End of Days, armageddon, and/or Revelations by Terry Prachett and Neil Gaimen. They are both very funny authors in this book; the tone reminds me of Douglass Adams and Monty Python. The plot posits what would happen if the End of Days were upon us and someone misplaced the anti-christ. The writing is quiet funny.
So, what did I do on vacation to Europe. We saw the British Museum, the Tower of London, and a host of other famous spots. In Paris we did the usual, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, plus a day trip over to Versailles.
Fun times, and a relaxing day today. I hope work clams down when I get back to it tomorrow.
