So last week's Vegas trip wasn't too bad. I got to see some old friends. I ate some surprisingly good food. I got to take in a show. All-in-all you can't really call it a bad trip. In the Dept. of Wacky Department, I head back to Vegas tomorrow for another trip. I really need to get a break from all this travel. Unfortunately no end is in sight.
In lighter news I was able to spend a pretty quiet weekend at home. We saw some friends and hung with family. It was really nice, and a much needed slowing down of things. I caught up on TiVo, too, so that was nice (of course, the now ended writer's strike helped, what with only three new shows airing last week). And I was able to read a bit. A real Renaissance weekend, if you will.
In not so good of news, I think my role-playing game is withering on the vine. We resurrected it after several years of hiatus, and have been trying to play it online. But posts are slowing and the players not posting as meaty as they once did. I guess winter is thawing for some of them and they have better things to do. Either that or I suck as a game master. I prefer the former.
Cheers,
