I have been sick... Since Sunday, I've felt aches and pains and tingling skin (not the good kind, either) all over my body. I went about my business on Monday, but that knocked me down. I ended up calling in sick yesterday and today. No fun.
Fortunately my doctor wrote a script for some anibiotics. They taste terrible, are as large as any drug I've seen, and leave me queasy, but damned if even after one day the cough is easing and I am starting to feel human again.
The downside to this episode? Well, the downside in addition to being sick? I didn't have a bloody chance to play any video games. I was super sluggish over the weekend and slept most of yesterday and about half of today.
Although I am starting to feel better, I am also starting to get gaming jitters... This weekend is my time to shine! (Or get my butt kicked, whichever comes first.)
