Woohoo I'm Back!
sort of.....hehe Anyways, I am better enough now not to sulk in my sickness. Wow the past weekend and week totally fucking sucked. I thought I heard death knockin on my door. The worst part of it was last thursday, the day before I got totally fucking dead, I bought a new set of strings for my guitar and had to spend the week laying in bed knowing that I had a fresh set of .10-.60 just waiting to be violated. Tuesday I was defintaly feeling a hell of a lot better so I decided to start taking my medicine...
After about 3 hours of guitar I felt pretty fucking good. Kind of angry because my throat is still thrashed and I can barely talk without choking, so no vocals for me.
I am starting to wonder if maybe I did it to myself. I was sick the week before but it was like the normal sniffly flu shit that I kick with a beer and some nyquil over time but then I got that fucking bronchial infection.
Recently I have been testing my um....vocal limits through some pretty harsh noises. Screams, gasps, rasps, growls, cookie monsters, etc. So I wonder if maybe I fucked something up and infection sneaked its way in a BAM I am damn near dead.
Oh well. I will hopefully be back to normal in a few more days, but until then I have a newly strung guitar and online Christmas shopping to start. Thanks to everyone for the get wells soons and what not. You know who you are.
