Wow, what a night. At first things were looking grim because I couldn't get in touch with Jer. So I played guitar for 3 1/2 hours, taking small breaks to call and be like "where the fuck are you cocksmoker!." I had a great time playing. I didn't get in touch with until 9 o'clock so ABC was closed by then but we made do with what we had stocked up and bought from a local grocery store. It ended up being a mad beer and white russian night. Jer's dad sells macs so we raided his shipment he got yesterday and set up 2 G5's with 20 in studio displays in his room. We also pumped em up with 3 extra gigs of ram each, then proceeded to get shitty and put the G5's to the test with mad video games. My raging dork boner should be satisfied for about a week now.
I'm paying for it today, but its not a hangover. Between playing guitar (I would say singing, but I won't lie to you, I scream) and drinking after that, I feel like I swallowed a handfull of razorblades.
Well, I guess tomorrow is the day this hurricane is comming through. Isabel has weakened a lot and is going to supposedly have like 78 mph winds when it hits instead of the original estimated 150+. I think we will all be fine, its still always scary when one comes through, you never know if its gonna rip up a tree and put it through your window.
