i finally made it to my landlords shit list...
well my rent was late this month...14 days late to be exact. i received a call on the 14th from someone at the agency i rent from. i told them i would be dropping it off on the 15th. and like i said, i did. apparently whoever i gave it to didnt tell my direct contact (ie landlord) at the agency, so this evening while i was out i got a call from my landlord tat he hadn't gotten my rent, and on monday he was going to district court to file for my eviction. marvelous, first time in over 8 years of renting. first time for everything i suppose. i know i am in the wrong, and that i should have turned it in on time, and i would have, had i had it. last time i was going to be significantly late, i called my landlord and left him a message explaining my situation. he never returned my call, so i assumed it wasnt a very big deal, seeing how he knows me and i have been renting from him for a couple of years. guess it was, i understand he was only doing his job and i was in the wrong, i just havent been on a landlords shit list ever. it doesnt feel like a good place to be...
