finally home again...
just spent the last 6 days in LA for work...
Here's the + side to LA:
+Seeing all of the incredible movie star's stars on Hollywood blvd...such as... Abbot and Costello, Lon Chaney, Vincent Price, Alfred Hitchcock, etc (you get the point)
+Mel's Dinner - an awesome place to eat, I'll kinda miss out server Tom, he was awesome.
+Seeing the Spring/Summer Collection presented in the Fashion show (they duplicated the one from fashion week in new york)
+Hanging with some of the managers I don't get to see often.
Now...
+ Amoeba Records (i picked up two 12" smiths singles and a Morrissey 12" single, along with the new Damien Dempsey cd and the New Sons and Daughters Cd)
and now---the - of LA
- missing so many good fucking shows. I missed ETID and Bleeding through, the Sweet and Tender Hooligans and on the last day I missed the Warriors, Cursed and Turmoil...
- Meetings that seemed to never ever end and last all day (though they were good)
- Not being able to spend enough time in Amoeba, I was only here for 15 minutes and I could have shopped for hours
- Not being able to go back to amoeba and pick up the lost in translation soundtrack on vinyl with the Scarlett Johansen Cover
- Getting fucked over by United airlines and waiting at LAX for almost 8 fucking hours
- my dog being so far away
- Just LA in general, people were total asses
