Holy shit, it seems that I started a war. I emailed a short article that Craig Clevenger wrote about Dan Brown to some friends. Who knew that shit-talking Dan Brown was a federal offense, it was like I said their mothers were whores.
Either way, I fully support Craig Clevenger and to this day still can't get past chapter 2 of the 'Code' by Brown.
If you a fan of Palahniuk pick up Dermaphoria by Clevenger, it's amazing. I'm searching for a copy of his first book now, but no one seems to have it.
Just because a book is a national best seller doesn't mean its good.
On an unrelated note, I got to see the might Turmoil on saturday night. Holy shit, that band hasn't lost their edge, still pissed, still revelant, still amazing.
Gula and Hydro's side project The Kiss Of Death is amazing too. Much more sludge and rock.
