I saw Longwave last night at TT's, and it was utterly amazing. The guys from the band were really nice, and I may have an opportunity to do some minor work for a record label in the near future, so it was a pretty good night!

Just returned from SGB. And it fucking rocked! Before the show, I must have driven around the block about 5 times until I finally gave in and parallel parked. Luckily, it turned out rather well, no smashed lights or fenders! I got in line, and the beautiful Sid was waiting outside with gasmaskboy, so I made some small talk, hopefully not freaking her out in the process.

I didn't know Bloom was going to be there, and was very pleased they were, cause they rocked last time. I met up with the lead singer after the show, and he's going to send me some stuff, so that's cool.

Mooney Suzuki was pretty sweet. They were shoving thier guitars in everyone's faces, and the guitarist kept falling into the crowd. And, at one point, the lead singer carried the guitarist around his shoulders and into the crowd. Funny stuff.

I ended up meeting some people in SGBoston, like Quiescence, and hopefully I will be part of the group soon. And then I can at least find out about the Boston events, and maybe even partake in them as well!

And onto the best part, the show itself. It definetely was a more polished show than the first one, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Especially the amazingly beautiful Pearl, and her hula-hooping abilities. ::drools::
They brought back the Resevoir Dogs bit, which I feel was a good decision. And the finale was great as well. I figured since I was close to the stage, my shaved head would garner the attention of many a syrup dripping and possible rubbing, but no luck there. The guy in front of me got quite a bit of attention, and it was fun watching him get smothered in syrup at the end.

The girls came out a little while later, signed posters and books for everyone (including me), and were very sociable. I even met Missy, so I got to thank her for making an event like this possible.

I found out about an after-party from Sid, and finally got to the place about 20 minutes after I had left. These streets in Boston are crazy! I got there, and the only way in was locked. So, I waited for someone to go inside, and luckily enough, they were going to the same place. No Sid, or anyone else I had met tonight were there, so I felt a bit out of place. But, that feeling ended when the po-po showed up and broke the gathering up. Oh well, maybe next time, folks!

you're right, thats the song! thanks a lot... I had like 2 lines of it stuck in my head repeating and it was driving me completely insane... though the visions that accompanied them were a much more welcomed side of daydreaming.
