I'm not sure that I know everything about Terry Riley, or In C... I know I read some stuff on him, somewhere... but I've yet to hear him.

As I understand it about Bang on a Can, they have a loose instrument/ member line-up, so what better work for them to play than a loose tempo/ composition one?
I will buy In C sometime soon... really! Missing them play at U of Maryland lately was one of the big gig-missing regrets I have. I think I missed a chance to hear something truly different.
