there's this girl i've kinda half-assed been seeing... carrie. she's gorgeous, and we hang out a lot, but we're not getting at all close. the reason is because she's trying to get a job as an english teacher in japan, so she doesnt want to get attached, just in case. well, hey, that's cool with me, i'm not about to stand in someone's way of their goals.. it happened to me once and i'll always regret it.

so, we've gone out i dont know... 6 or 7 times.. and uh, we havent even held hands. she's wholesome. we hug, which is nice, but it's not like a "omg its so nice to have you hold me" kinda hug.., it's more like a "hey, how's it going?" kinda hug.. it's not going anywhere, i can feel it...

she had a second interview with the company yesterday (wednesday)... i knew that, so tuesday night i slip into her starbucks store RIGHT before closing, like 2 minutes before, just to tell her good luck and to give her my best wishes... she said she'd call me after it was over to tell me how it went... so yeah.. um. no call yet..

if she got it, why isnt she calling to tell me the news? i know this is something she really wants, and she'd have to be excited about it. i'm hurt that she hasnt called, especially when she said she would...
