When it rains, it pours.

First, I get a notice saying that I owed the City $400 in tickets that I wasn't even aware of up to that point. THEN, I get another notice the day afterwards saying I'm about to into collection and I cannot contest the tickets anymore. Once again, this was two days in a row.

Now, I dropped both my phone and my debit card in a taxi last night, since, ya know I don't have a car since the accident. However, with the help of my roomate's phone, I was able to call my phone. The cabbie said he was going to take it to the office which, as it turns out, is just a couple of blocks from my house. So that's good. Didn't ask about the debit card. I just found out about THAT today.

On the plus side, outside the practice spot that same night, I found a stick. I'm using it as a cane right now.
