This trip is so much awesome - I'm loving the desert in the wintertime, and seeing my dog, and hanging out with my nieces and nephew... good times.
Speaking of the kiddos - tonight we played HeroQuest. I got to be DM (mwahahaha!), though I went a little easy on them. I'm actually surprised they wanted to play. None of them had played, before, so I thought they'd get bored, but we got all the way through Quest 1 and they didn't die or lose interest. They're already bowing down to the "mighty and benevolent Zargon" for mercy and asking about Quest 2. I love being the DM. And I love that they're into gaming... kinda makes me wish LittleFierceOne had kept his D&D books... I'd love to run a simple campaign with them while I'm here. Ah, well... maybe next time.
I've been taking pictures, but I haven't uploaded them, yet - I've been tired and busy. Mostly tired. I'm actually going to bed in a few minutes so that I can be rested, tomorrow. I really want to go riding, if possible, but that'll depend on Dad.
