Hello, how are you?
I'm good... I just ate a delicious breakfast (hashbrowns, eggs, toast, and meatless sausage, complete with orange juice and coffee) courtesy of the wonderfully handsome, loving, and yummy-smelling LittleFierceOne. Mmm... breakfast. And boyfriends.
Sadly, it's 4:30, and I have yet to do anything productive this weekend. I have 1.5 days left... sad.
I did go out last night and meet a whole new group of fun and intelligent people - on a whim, we went to the birthday celebration of a girl LittleFierceOne kind of knows, and as the group dwindled to about 7 or 8 people, and we were actually able to enjoy real conversations, it was a lot of fun. I like it when we do things like that.
Unfortunately, neither of us slept well, so we stayed in bed too long and haven't gotten much done. I think I'll shower and get dressed, clean a bit and get started on catching up and getting shit done. I really want to teach this week, dammit, and need to whip up a lesson plan by tomorrow in order to do so.
Oh, and if you haven't, already, go and wish the lovely and amazingly intelligent Morgan a happy belated birthday! She is a quarter century old, as of yesterday, and appears to be having a good birthday so far. As she deserves.
Also, I'll be joining her ranks in seven days. I still don't know what I want to do to celebrate, but I hope to come up with that plan, today, too. Any suggestions?
