I miss my doggie. A lot.
It's been a year since I left him with my parents... and about 3 months since I saw him, last. It's been a while since I've cried about it. Today was stressful and tiring (my own fault on both counts), and ended in tears. It felt good to cry. I think I needed to, because I miss him, and for other reasons.
LittleFierceOne immediately knew why I was sad... I didn't tell him. He just... knew. He held me, and reassured me that I would get him back, soon. I asked him how he knew that's why I was upset.
He said, "Because I love you."
I love you, too.

heh, thanks! Thing is, we're kinda broke from moving and fixing up. so we'll probably just have a nice dinner and movie at home. But, I am contemplating dragging him to a wedding out in California in August in a sleepy little coastal town. So maybe we'll make a romantic weekend out of that.
