I don't do this often, but time doesn't really permit to write up a whole new entry, so I will copy and paste from my other journal, hope you are all well!

I'm still relatively angry at the world in general, but I'm not as stressed about it. I don't hate as much. Why? Because I have a fourth grade class, readings and assignments that matter, and no full time crap job.

Don't get me wrong, the school of education still has major flaws (which is so, so sad), but I'd much rather read about how to integrate social studies into a curriculum, plan lessons, and learn different teaching techniques than cram for an exam that I won't think about ever again. Even if the school of ed is disorganized, closed-minded, and has its head up its ass, it's still better than taking classes I'm not interested in.

So, while there is much to do this semester, I'm happily doing it. I'm not even too far behind in the reading (it's very easy for me to catch up). I'm *gasp* organized, and feel more together than I ever have been.

And, I've been taking exercise classes. Which, while they are challenging and make me sore in places I didn't even know I had, give me more energy, and I think are having a tremendously positive effect on my mood.

I am enjoying life, for the first time in a while. For me. And that's an awesome feeling. I got new glasses, which I'm actually wearing like I'm supposed to (for reading, and anything that requires focus within arm's length). I have a nerdy chain, but it's the only way I will actually wear them all the time without dropping/losing/forgetting them. So, yeah, I'm a nerdy teacher, now, but at least I can read without getting headaches. And my glasses are pink and black, with a pretty chain (it looks more like a necklace than anything else), so it's kinda cute. So I'm the hawt nerdy teacher. Bow down.
