Holy cow, I didn't do ANYTHING productive ALL WEEKEND!
Which is good, but also bad. I haven't done much productive for a week or so now. I'm slipping - which is bad. Luckily, I have today off (gasp!), so I will take advantage of that.
Saturday was pretty much getting ready for and enjoying the awesomely amazing Chili party courtesy of not_tom and kriss. It was so much fun I can't possibly describe it. I just know SGNC and SGC is where all the cool people are.
And guitar hero, while it gets annoying at times, is addictive to play. And I learned something very important - if you have no clue what's going on, put your thumb on the table and point up. Trust me.
Sunday I slept til 10ish, fed the kitties, and wandered around SG for a while. Then I went BACK to bed, watched tv cuddled up with the wonderful and sexy LittleFierceOne and our three cuddly black kitties. I got up a few more times during the day for food and internets, but mostly I spent the day in bed, cuddling and sleeping. I joked that I was spending the day as a kitty.
Sadly, it is now Monday and I have nothing to show for it. The apartment's still messy, I still have papers and assignments to work on, and I really need to pay my storage bill (so late!) and turn some books into the library (overdue!)
And check my email. I'm kinda afraid, I've been avoiding it for a week. So, yes, today is a fortunate day off, and I will spend it getting shit done. I'll be so glad when I've graduated and I can look back at these stressful times and think "wow, school sucks. glad I graduated."
So, thank you all for the lovely weekend - I truly did need it. Alas, the real world requires I actually do something other than eat, sleep, and get naked.
