I get to see the dentist in the morning.


That's all... not sure what that means. Sometimes I think a cleaning is worse than filling a cavity. Speaking of dark holes (though I think this is a totally mixed metaphor), why is it that a dentist office in this day and age doesn't take credit cards? Do any of them now that I think about it? I assumed it was this little town and little dentist office. I thought it pretty stupid... here, we're going to do all this expensive work to your mouth but you have to pay NOW. I don't carry cash on me and it pisses me off because writing a check is a waste of a perfectly good debit card.

Then I'm off to Raleigh, to see a friend. I am not sure if I'm more excited about seeing her or going to the Apple store. I haven't seen her in a year and a half and she's driving out of her way (going to Maryland but driving an hour off of 95 to meet me) so I'll make sure she thinks it's her. Yeah, call me callous but her motives are hardly ever clear; like, does her husband know that on her solo trip to see her family she's swinging by to see me?
