right after I set up my AT&T account in February I had to make changes to it (iTunes wouldn't let me set up my iPhone at my physical address so I used my mother's in SC, no problem). I set up a new account in NC and supposedly the first one was cancelled (I doubt the intelligence of the tech and the manager I spoke to. Since that time, even though the account was officially cancelled, I kept getting statements for it. There was an account number but no phone number (am I the only one that thinks ATT should have a system of finding such things). After five months of my mother receiving my statements I contacted ATT and found out I have a credit on the first account, that's why it never closed. Within five minutes the nice tech transferred the credit to my new account... and my old account is now "officially" closed. I guess my mother will let me know next month.
