Merry Christmas to me
I have just gotten to the important from-me-to-me Christmas presents. Since I have no one who can fulfill my holiday hopes, dreams, wishes I did my best and filled my holiday with monetary trinkets to make me smile through the pain...
An ex-friend of mine loaned my copy of Casino Royale to his girlfriend whom he then broke up with and she died. Her sons were nice enough to gather all his stuff together, including my book, so he can get it when he was ready. He never was. Understand, I had told him I was going to write a screenplay on the book for the 50th Anniversary of the Bond films. I was beaten to it and my book has been lost longer than I owned it. I have the whole set of Fleming novels EXCEPT the first book. Oh, and he and I aren't friends anymore. Now I've got Casino Royale... Merry Christmas to me.
This is Cybill, my spiffy new iPod shuffle. It's not replacing any old or stolen one... I just really wanted to play with one. It's dreamy. Merry Christmas to me!
