I'm not liking the world too much at the present.
Unlike normally, this doesn't come from the shallow, selfish part of myself. I'm upset that good people are always put down. I know it's their fault, being good never did anyone (meaning good for oneself) any good. Good people are martyrs because bad things happen to them and, being good, the can't or won't retaliate against it... it's God's Will or Karma or "just how things go."
And why is it that justice protects the guilty? If you're an evil person you will never be convicted... if you're a good person that only committed one infraction, and it was probably done for the betterment of someone else, your ass will rot away under my father's care (he's a corrections officer).
Why can rules be broken and not accounted for? Why can liars lie and that's okay since we know they're liars? Why are people allowed to be rotten yet still loved regardless? Why do some people work so hard to have a little while others have the very same given to them because they "are worthy" due to being poor?
I could go on and on but ultimately it would come back to selfish me and this is not about me.
