It ocurred to me today just as I popped in the DVD to watch to prepare myself for the sequel that, like those clips of Erol Flynn swinging in as Robin Hood, the chariots of Spartacus, Harrison Ford with whip and hat, and Bogie walking away from the woman in a "beautiful friendship," that a certain scene/pic will also become an iconic piece of Hollywood.
Who would ever think that Johnny Depp would become the antithesis of himself (namely, a star) and that a whacked out character like Captain Jack Sparrow would be ranked with Indiana Jones, James Bond, Rick Blaine, Abraham Van Helsing and all the other characters they use in movie montages at the Oscars?
