Today, I took my puppy for a walk. I came home and showered. I even shaved and brushed my teeth. But then my depression said, "You're not going to leave your room." So for the next three hours I sat in my room. When I did finally leave I nearly had a panic attack. I'm so happy I didn't. And what did I leave the room for? A soda. That's what took three hours of thought to do. Since then my day was great. I've never experienced such fear of leaving my room before. It was one of the most debilitating experiences of my life. When I did get downstairs I watched The League. Comedy makes me feel better. I always think, If I can laugh it ain't that bad. My day went up from there. I urge those of you reading this who suffer from depression to watch a comedy when you're down. It won't cure you but you might laugh.
