Hi everyone. Hope you all had a good week. Mine was okay but December is going to be busy and awesome for me so that cheer me up.🖤✨

Today's topic for Friday's homework is: Share an experience from your past that helped shape you into the person you are today.

Alright... I grew up in a pretty unhealthy household. As a toddler I was already in a foster family for almost 3 years. My mom and my dad split up far before I was born and my mom was always in an abusive relationship. She is quite insane too but no such thing as drug/alcohol addictions. But her partners was and that was tough growing up with. Eventually, all of that lead me to be in similar relationships that my mom had when I was a kid.

When I was 20 years old, I moved in BC with my ex and it was a VERY violent relationship. TOXIC AS FUCK. It lasts for almost 2 years and the one after him was another unhealthy and physically abusive relationship. Shortly after, I moved on my own to Vancouver in my studio/bedroom ALONE.

There was a lot of dark times in my life but I never gave up. All that shit in the past built the strong woman I am today. It made me willing to be the best version of myself everyday. I've seen how evil I can be an how ugly my soul can get. I don't want to be like that; unless you want me to eheh .😉😈

Thanks for your love as always xxo🖤

erich:
I broke my back when I was 13. Compression fracture, so no risk of paralysis. But because I was in the midst of puberty and growth, the doctors decided it was best to not try to fix it, because it could harm, or be harmed by, growing. So my lower back healed, but not quite right. The vertebrae are off killer just enough to have left me with chronic pain. But I never let that stop me. I enlisted in the Army when I was 17. Only 3 years in, due to an unrelated knee injury, but my bad back didn’t stop me. All it did was give me a hell of a tolerance for pain. I acknowledge hurting, but unless it’s something dramatic, I don’t let pain stop me. If I’m unable to do my current job because of pain, that’s because I’ve reached at least a 9 on the pain scale. I’ve taken this, living with pain, and turned it into my life. As a caretaker, I help others because I know what it means to be unable to help myself. And dealing with some personal pain is nothing if I can help a cancer patient or stroke victim have less worry in their lives.
