tonight i relax and try to sort out my life a little bit. got some financial unmanageability going on... otherwise life is really pretty damn good, not mopey about the date anymore and still looking forward to the nerve girl date tomorrow 'cause she's very cool and looks a lot like maggie from northern exposure plus she's wearing a hell's belles shirt in the photo she emailed me (amaaaazing dyke ac/dc cover band if you don't know.)

i think i'm ready to send pitches out to some places i useta write (v. voice, spin, etc.) to help with the $$ situation... and that would also help with my ego situation. for almost twenty fucking years now i've been getting published and it's still kind of a thrill to see your name in print, i'd totally lie to say otherwise.
oh p.s. -- the second release on my label just came out this week, "trickboxes on the pony line" by sin ropas -- check it out -- we have mp3s up and shit -- i think it sounds like bowie, tricky, neil young, t rex and califone all at once!!! i fucking love it -- they are about to go on tour as well, dudes...

Maggie from N E!! I just watched some old N E the other day. My ex's sister looks like her...minus the cuteness.
I love seeing a new review come out. All my colleagues labor over their precious music journal publishings and how "oh boy, I got published". Yeah, well I've been published over a hundred times this last year. Now who's laughing? Um...wait, this wasn't about revenge, right?
