Ah New Years. I was originally planning on making it as far as Portland (Maine) and hanging out with my brother and his friends, but the weather conspired against me. I then decided that a quiet New Years at home would be fine. By 9pm though I realized that the weather was now fine, so I decided a quiet New Years at a bar downtown would be even better. I got there around 10:30, and just had a few drinks, while listening to music, watching the bar tvs, and people watching, I was alone (by choice), but enjoying myself. There was one very drunk and attractive gal, that nearly tripped over me twice. Both times it was a combination of being waaay too drunk, and her looking at me and not where she was going, but none the less we never actually spoke. By 12:45 I was ready to leave, and as I almost reached the door, the very drunk girl grabbed my arm and told me I should come to her apartment. I started to ask directions to humor her, asking if she had a New Years party going on, but she was so drunk I really couldn't understand what she said, so I said "ok, I'll see ya there" and gave her a sly smile. She laughed, said "No! C'mon, you should come." I gave her a New Years hug instead and went home. I'm waaaay too nice of a guy for my own good. I have to admit though, I already regret it.
