Did another shoot with another girl the other night with a new lens. Pictures turned out much better! Bought faster memory last night so we'll see what kind of a difference it makes. I'm having a problem with my add on flash. It seems to be underexposing.

Did the shoot tonight with the Hooter's girl. It went surprisingly well! Also sold one of my cameras so now I have the cash to get another lens! Shooting another girl tomorrow night! Unfortunately, I feel like shit! How can the human head hold that much snot?!
Well Orlando was awesome! Perfect weather - 70+ and sunny. Had a blast the entire time I was there and the show was good too! Despite the 20 degree weather I'm glad to be back though. $1350. That included a 2 year warranty, extra battery, case, and Minolta installed the firmware upgrade and synched the flash with the camera for optimal performance, blah, blah. Plus I get $150 off of a lens purchase. I'm working on my receipts for the accountant tomorrow so I'm not thinking too straight so there might be some other stuff in the deal as well that I'm not remembering.

I carry at least one camera with me pretty much everywhere I go since ya never know when a photo opportunity might present itself. I passed a car on the other side of the highway today that was completely engulfed in flames. It looked as if everyone was okay but I was unable to stop to get any pics. I do a lot of watch/jewelry photos for a client (and myself) and I do a lot of nature pics as well. The first group I joined was the photography group. You can actually learn a bunch just reading through the posts!
Sweet! My lighting equipment and background stand should be at the office by the time I get home! Leaving the city early so I can pick them up and play. If you want some pictures for your portfolio feel free to get ahold of me. I always enjoy new faces (amongst other things!).
