Good day today. Called a sickie so I could catch up with lots of sitting on my arse activities (mainly daytime TV and scratching myself wearing only boxers). It's been good. Have even got tomorrow off too! Have to work Saturday though as I have to work 2 out of 7 Saturdays according to the shift rota. It's bizarre to say the least but thankfully I had no plans to go out this Saturday anyway.

Can't wait to watch Lost tonight. Can't believe I was so snobbish about Big Brother when I'm addicted to a show about 40 odd people stuck on an island. At least I recognise the hypocracy of it all and also have the inner satisfaction that this show is better.

On a completely separate note, what's a good way of meeting people? I've moved to a different part of town to all my friends and although we keep in touch it would be nice to know people that live within walking distance. As I live ten minutes walk from the city centre I thought this would be easy, but so far all I meet is chavs and old people. I need a social life again!

Also, where's good to go in Bristol? I know there's loads of you out there but I never see you unless it's a SG night! My mates keep going to Ramshackle but if I go there for the 112th consecutive Friday I will actually eat one of my own limbs.
