My girlfriend's 15 year old brother died last night. I have no idea how to console her. It's heartbreaking to see her like this and I feel like a dead weight. But I know I need to be there for her. She went home earlier today and I just received a text to come and see her. I'm just checking train times then I'm going.
I'm not scared or uncomfortable in doing this even though we've been going out for only two weeks. She's an amazing girl and she doesn't serve this, and I want to be there for her in any way I can. But I feel really helpless.
Any advice? I haven't a clue how to act at the moment. Sorry to put a downer on your day. The first decent bit of sunshine and something like this happens.
