Should be doing dissertation, but I can't seem to break away!
How is everyone? I thought I would change my profile pic as everyone else seems to be doing it (God, I'm a fucking sheep aren't I?). Anyway, I think I'm going to Glastonbury. I got a order confirmation but so far no money has been taken. I get ultra paranoid about things like this, I kept thinking I would never get to New York until the plane landed and it finally sunk in. Are any of you going? I'm always like this, book something then find out who else is going rather than the other way around. So far it's looking better than the time I went to Reading as then I only knew one guy, this time I know three girls and a guy. At least the ratio is improving.
Kissed a girl last night out of sheer spontaneity. She's a friend I've known for a while, but never really sure how I felt about. We had a disasterous date in the first year when my mate tried to hit on her all night, but beyond that nothing much has happened. I don't see her that often, I only see her about two or three times a year as we do totally different courses. Anyway, I went over to her house last night to catch up and hang out for a bit. There's always been a little chemistry between us and the only time we let loose was drunkenly at her birthday last year, but nothing has ever been said. Anyway, we hung out and flirted but without clear signals as usual. Then it was time for me to go home. I got halfway down the road when I realised this was just stupid and life's too short to live in doubt. So I rushed back, her flatmate let me in, and I rushed up and kissed her. She was shocked to say the least but she wasn't horrified. I'm seeing her tonight once she's finished at uni. I have no idea what may happen, but all I do know is that I felt much better for doing it. Life is too short and I'm too young to have regrets. If nothing comes of it then at least I'd know. Ambiguous chemistry just bugs me.
Well, I'll keep you updated and talk to you later, I've got shit to do and it won't go away.

This may sound contrived but on Saturday I ordered the Danny Wallace book online and got it today. I finished reading the first 2 chapters and came here to check the comments and saw what you wrote
