So Ellie and I have broken up.

I know, I was pretty surprised too, it's only been a couple of weeks so how bad could it be? Well, Ellie was always remarking how it was very strange for her to have a boyfriend. She's very free spirited and that was part of the attraction. Apparently though she is so free spirited that the idea of a boyfriend is too much her.

I loved the fact that she said it wasn't personal. She just doesn't like 'relationships' she doesn't like the idea of a 'boyfriend'. It made me feel like a million dollars. She said we could still have sex and stuff, claiming it would be better as she wouldn't feel trapped by the confines of a relationship. I'm sorry, but I don't buy into that. She wants casual sex and eventually casual sex will turn to sleeping with other people and my heart will go splat. I prefer to mourn a relationship properly and move on rather than getting strung along with a semblance of hope that we may actually work things out.

What the fuck is it with me and hippies? That's two in a row now and they were both disasters. Maybe I should just get a really conservative girl who won't let me fuck her until we're married and have the consent of her entire extended family, at least I'd know where I stood.

Birthday in four days, it's going to be messy.
