So Edinburgh,

After being begged by two friends, BEGGED, to go visit them I go and spontaneously book my tickets. Now it turns out they're busy. Not just busy, but not even IN THE COUNTRY!

Admittedly I should have confirmed dates with them, but they also were giving me the impression they were really bored with the amount of free time they had on their hands. Not that they are actually going on a few jaunts around Europe and only have two weekends free between now and Xmas, one I'm busy the other I can't afford as it's in December. So what to do, Edinburgh, I hear it's a beautiful city and I know I could have gone when there was an SG meet so I could cover my back if things fell through. However, I couldn't afford to travel on those dates and I wanted to spend a decent amount of time with my friends and not spread myself too thin.

D'oh!

So now it's just you and me Edinburgh. I've changed my flights so I'm only there for one night, but I'm coming to see you anyway. I've spent random time with you three years ago I can do it again. I'm sure I can make a cool anecdote about it.

Oh, and if any of you reading this happen to live there. Fancy a pint on the 10th November?
