Yesterday was a day of loss.We lost Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.
Love him or hate him Michael Jackson was an Iconic figure reaching heights one can only dream of. I watched him grow up on TV during the days of the Jackson 5, then out on his own with an unprecedented solo career, I'm sure it's success will never be equaled.
His great successes marred only by great scandal. A man with highs and lows that most of us could never imagine, yet still, preparing for yet another comeback only to be struck down early in his life by suspected cardiac arrest.
The music he had yet to write the songs he had yet to perform we will never see. He was and will always be a musical genius, taking music and dancing to places it has never been. He will be missed forever!
He will forever be the King of Pop!
Farrah Fawcett of Charlie's Angels fame passed away. Surrendering after a 3 year battle with cancer, with her longtime companion Ryan O'neal by her side as well as many close friends.
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas she was named Mary Farrah Leni Fawcett by her mother, who said she added the Farrah because it sounded good with Fawcett.
She stirred many teenage boys fantasy with her clingy red swimsuit poster, her beautiful smile and feathered blond hair.
She started a generation of women trying to get their hair to look just like hers.
Now she rests with the real angels. Her smile, her wit, her amazing resolve will be missed.
