Major Bummer!!
I got a damn flat tire last night.. What's worse, My damn spare was flat too.. I managed to limp my truck down the side of the road till I could pull into a service station. Of course the have no mechanic, its just a quick stop. Did I mention that it was 11 o'clock at night. So I had to walk the final 2.5 miles home, cause no-one was awake to give me a ride. Well at least it was cooler last night than it has been but it was still 85* and humid. Nothing like a good stretch of the legs to finish off your night.. What a great night!!

ok hey I was just wondering. Wolves have had a bad name for several thousand years and they are still here. Thanks in part to us, but still around none the less. Did you know that there has never been a documented case of a healthy wolf attacking a human. Ever.. That's pretty friggin amazing!
I think that aerial gunning is appalling too. But no matter how much we educate the public there will still be those assholes that go out and do it. They have been doing that for 100 years and the public has known about it the whole time and yet done nothing because of one simple notion, they think "it doesn't effect me, so why should I care". But that is the ignorance of most people. Not realizing that everything that happens on this earth effects everyone.
I'm glad that ther are groups that want to help I just wish more of them would come around to my way of thinking. Which is that hunting is neccessary! For population control that has gotten out of control due to mismanaged lands for far too long as well as for food. We humans keep expanding into the animals territory and don't understand when they retaliate because they are pushed into a corner. The natural response of humans is to kill them all. Stupid yes, but that is the nature of humans. We are our own worst enemy!

I agree that we need to help protect some of our wildlife. But so many of these groups do not believe in hunting. Hunting is a much needed form of population control. Notice that I said Hunting... NOT SPORT HUNTING to which I am very much opposed to. I hunt to put food on my table not a rack or head or hide on my wall/floor. I hunt for food just like our ancestors did. Also because so much of the food we buy in stores is so loaded with steroids and other crap I don't want to eat it.
Perhaps many states needs to adopt similar wildlife programs to Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida which all have excellent programs in place. All have room for improvement but most are better than many of the other states.

This has been a stimulating conversation...I Stand Corrected
Thank You

Hey that's well and good. You're entitled to what you do. I agree with you on the radical groups too. But I do my research before I put my name behind anything.

I know plenty of people that hunt for similiar, if not the same, reasons you do. And I agree with your want to be wary of the chemicals in food. My step-mom gave me an article from Mother Earth magazine and I was just disgusted. That's why I try to buy local if I don't grow it my own self (which has been hard being its been a rather dry summer).

There is room for correction all over the place when it comes to the issues of our earth. But that being said, just because the issues are big, doesn't mean we got to let the bits and pieces go unnoticed. Not saying you said that, just making a statement.

Its good that you are willing to listen.
