It's amazing the changes you go through in your life. Constantly.

I look back on all the places I've been and all the things I've done (Hey - it's reflection season, right?) and I see some things that make me proud, and some things that make me scratch my head.

It also helps me to come to terms with the fact that things will all change again in the future. In this world there is no durability. Permanence is an illusion used to lull people into a sense of well-being before they get brutalized by the truth.

You have to do the things that you want to do. Life is meaningless otherwise. Set your goals and reach for them with all you have. Don't be scared if they change when you get there, or if you even ever get there. They may change along the way. It doesn't matter. If you are rich and powerful when you die, how does that make it any better than if you are poor when you die. When it's over - it's over - doesn't matter who you are.

Enjoy the ride. That's all there is. Really. If you don't enjoy the ride, well, then reaching the destination is gonna suck bad...

Don't get discouraged by the fact that you change your mind about the things you want. Just go for them. If it is different tomorrow - then so be it. All you have is that which makes you feel good as a person. No thing or person or place is gonna do that for you. You get there on your own. Maybe you have someone along for the ride to share it - but they can't get you there, and you can't get them there.

Go. Do. Be.
